Helping/Healing the Hurting Heart
Danville Counseling is dedicated to keeping our focus on helping community members overcome the many types of wounds that can be acquired as we go through our daily lives. Our mission statement “Helping those who are hurting” is something that we take to heart and work to fulfill each day. We have a welcoming space downtown where we can join together for a session, or we offer school visits, home visits (on a limited basis), and telehealth.
We have worked to pull together professionals with diverse knowledge to help individuals with a wide variety of issues. Our office houses many trauma specialists, EMDR clinicians, a biblical counselor, and individuals trained in play therapy. Our counselors stay up to date on the latest techniques for helping clients overcome obstacles and we have EMDR trained, TF-CBT certified, CBT and DBT trained therapists to help with depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, oppositional defiant disorder, complicated grief, and many other issues.
